Swedish Massage
Swedish massage is the most common form of Western massage, known primarily for its ability to promote overall relaxation, ease muscle tension, and improve circulation. This technique is often referred to as “classic massage” and uses a system of five fundamental techniques. By combining these movements with light-to-firm pressue, a Swedish massage warms up the muscle tissue, releases superficial tension, and encourages the flor of blood back toward the heart, making it an excellent choice for general well-being and stress relief.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage is a therapeutic bodywork techniwue focused on relieving chronic muscle tension and addressing musculoskeletal issues by targeting the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons, and fascia. This is achieve by using sustained, firm pressure and very slow, deliberate strokes, opftem aplying specialized techniques like friction and stripping with fingers, knuckles, forearms, and elbows. The primary purpose is to physically break down internal scar tissue and release “knots” that form in chronically tense or injured muscles, which help improve mobility, restore posture, and significantly reduce chronic pain.
MNRI® Tactile Reflex Integration
MNRI® Tactile Reflex Integration is a gentle and restorative approach that helps the body feel safe, connected, and at ease. Through light, structured touch, this method supports the integration of reflex patterns that influence how we respond to sensory input. The session helps calm overactive responses, reduce tension, and improve body awareness. It can be especially beneficial for those who experience sensitivity, restlessness, or difficulty relaxing fully. The goal is to normalize touch perception, help the brain stem calm its protective defensive reflexes and build a foundatopn of emotional safety and body awareness. This is essential for the healthy maturation of motor skills, coordination, emotional regulation, and cognitive development. The experience is quiet, grounding, and deeply supportive for both the body and mind. Many clients notice a growing sense of comfort, security, and calm long after the session ends.
Dry Needle Therapy
Dry needle therapy is a specialized technique usd to manage meuromusculoskeletal pain and movement impairments. The procedure invlolves the insertion of very thin, solid filament needles directly into a myofascial trigger point or taut band of muscle tissue. The mechanical stimulus of the needle aims to elicit a local twitch response which disrupts the dysfunctional motor endplate, relieve muscle tension, normalize the chemical environment around the trigger point, and stimulate the body’s natural healing response by increasing blood flow and oxygen to the affected area. This technique is often used as part of a comprehensive treatments plan to decrease pain, restore muscle function, anf improve range of motion in conditions like chronic back pain, stiff neck, tendonitis, and sports injures.
Functional Movement (Archetype) Therapy
MNRI® Archetype Movement Integration program focuses on the foundational, less complex reflexive movements that emerge first in the human body, even before the primary motor reflexes. These archetype movements are the essential building blocks that establish the basic biological and neurological organization for stability, balance, and coordination across the body's main axes. If these fundamental movements remain dormant or undeveloped, they can significantly impede the proper maturation of more complex reflexes and learned motor skills, leading to challenges in posture, motor control, emotional regulation, and cognitive function. The therapy involves guided, hands-on facilitation and specific exercises to activate and integrate these initial movement patterns, ensuring a solid neurological groundwork for overall physical and developmental health.
Dynamic and Postural Reflex Repatterning
MNRI® Dynamic & Postural (D&P) Integration program is a profound, non-invasive therapy that addresses the root cause of chronic physical and emotional tension by optimizing your body's most basic operating system:. These reflexes are essential for infant development but must integrate for the body to achieve stable posture, fluid movement, and efficient stress management. Through gentle, passive or active movements, this therapy re-patterns any unintegrated reflexes, calming the nervous system and establishing a secure, automatic foundation for lasting improvements in coordination, balance, muscle tone, and overall emotional regulation.
Prenatal Massage
Prenatal massage is a specialized form of gentle, therapeutic bodywork customized to relieve the unique physical and emotional stress experienced during pregnancy, and is generally recommended after the first trimester. The massage utilizes specific techniques, such as light to moderate pressure and long, soothing strokes, to safely address common discomforts like backaches, hip and joint pain, headaches, and swelling.. To ensure the safety and comfort of both the mother and baby, the treatment is performed with the client in a side-lying position, fully supported by pillows and bolsters, which helps to improve blood circulation, reduce muscle tension, and promote deep relaxation..
Stress Hormones Regulation
MNRI® Stress Hormones & Trauma Integration program is a non-verbal, neurodevelopmental therapy that directly addresses the root of trauma and chronic stress held in the body, which is crucial because extreme stress can damage primitive protective reflexes. When these reflexes remain stuck in a defensive, "fight-or-flight-or-freeze" state, they cause the nervous system to chronically overproduce stress hormones (like cortisol and adrenaline), leading to symptoms like hypervigilance, emotional reactivity, anxiety, and poor physical regulation. Using specific, gentle sensorimotor techniques and movement patterns, MNRI works to re-pattern and integrate these dysfunctional protective reflexes at the brainstem/subcortical level, effectively calming the automatic stress responses, downregulating the neuroendocrine system’s stress axis, and restoring a profound sense of inner safety and resilience.
