My Story

In 2019, I decided to move to Israel and draft to the IDF. In October of 2023, I was called up for two weeks of reserve duty. Upon completing my rotation, I noticed psycho-neurological irregularities in my movements and cognition. I had lost my appetite, had trouble sleeping, nightmares, and my muscles were always clenched. I recognized that my body was still in fight/flight mode from the high-stress of the previous weeks. Although my mind knew I was safe, my body did not respond. I needed help.

I reached out to a therapist who specializes in MNRI® and inquired about stress and trauma related treatment options. Although there are protocols specifically for these issues, she suggested I learn the method; either I can help myself or learn to help others. I flew to New York and I took 3 courses in MNRI® which address stress and trauma directly.

Having no understanding of physiology, neurology, or anatomy, I depended a lot on my applied skills. I discovered that while practicing the technique during the course, I was actually healing myself of its symptoms! I believed that this method can be beneficial to the people living in Israel.

I had a problem that I did not have any licensing to practice this technique or even a license to touch. I applied to study massage therapy at the Wingate Institute of Physical Education and Sports and get my training there. I was taught anatomy, physiology, orthopedics, clinical thinking and hands on massage techniques. Most importantly, I received the necessary licenses to practice in Israel! Throughout my training, I discovered my love for treating and healing people. I understood that it is my mission to utilize the training and my gifts to help those in pain.
